About the position
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5+ years of experience in Software QA
- 2+ years of experience in Telephony / Contact Center/ Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS)
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes including automated testing tools
- Experience using testing platforms and test management tools/ software (such as Testrail and Github)
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience in Javascript
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Be able to work independently
- Ability to prioritize and plan testing activities
- Fluent in English
Candidate must be able to:
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes
- Liaise with internal teams (developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Use testing automation tools
- Preferred: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Preferred: Other programming skills: Python, Java
